Q: Are you guys, you know, good at this stuff?
A: Um, if you have to ask, I'm not sure my answer will make a difference. So sure, we're awesome. With a capital 'awe'.

Q: By stuff, I mean 'design websites'. I need a site up, probably by tomorrow. I can pay you $500, but I already have a site design I want you to use, so it should be easy for you. Of course I'll expect a little extra effort for that kind of money.
A: ???
A: Our average project costs around $10k. But we do projects of all shapes and sizes, so let's talk. Have you ever heard of Wordpress?

Q: Woah! You've got to be kidding, right? I mean I know 15 year old kids who can do this stuff. I just wanted to do you guys a favor by giving you some work. What do you guys do that costs so much?
A: Well, we're essentially a creative technology lab. Since we're small and innovative, we like to explore concept and process in ways that lead us to insight and inventiveness. And we're not married to any technology, which allows us the flexibility to choose what best fits the process at hand - like php or Rails, Java, Flex and AIR, GWT... We love AJAX. And there are a ton of open source projects we contribute to and leverage into projects as well. We've done 3D work, video, music, programmed motion effects, built Java applets, action-scripted, javascripted...you name it. Then there's the Brand and Identity work that's always been at the top of our favorite projects' list. And we are really into Internet Culture. So we have a lot of angles on visual design vocabulary and strategy - we know how things work on the web. Did I mention we've been gaining experience in this stuff since the internet was born?

Q: No, you didn't. Anyway, can you guys get started on my site? I just need it to look sweet.
A: Actually, we do have a window in our schedule right now...

Q: Well, how about building my site then?
A: Ok, well, sure I guess. But just this once. As long as it's simple and you know what you want.

Q: Oh, yeah, one last thing. I need a Shopping Cart, too. And probably a logo and a brochure and some business cards. And you guys can build it so it will be a the top of Google's search list, right?
A: ...
